Japanese Ambassador visits Al Hussein Technical University

Ammon news – Japanese Ambassador to Amman SHIMAZAKI Kaoru on Thursday visited Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), a foundation of the Crown Prince (CPF), and met with its president, Dr Ismail Al-Hinti, and members of the faculty.

During the meeting attended by a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and a number of officials from the Japanese Embassy, ​​the two sides explored avenues of possible cooperation in the areas of education and training.

Al-Hinti spoke about the development and modernization of the university as well as its cooperation with foreign embassies in the Kingdom and international educational institutions. He stressed that the university is looking forward to intensifying cooperation and exchange programs with Japanese institutions and JICA.

The Ambassador of Japan was briefed on the university’s curricula, educational model and study plans that align higher education outcomes with labor market demands through networking with industrial sectors and commercial.

During the meeting, Kaoru was briefed on the training and employment programs offered by the university to new graduates as part of its training and employment program, commending the university for its technical education and programs. of quality aimed at preparing young Jordanians for the job market.
